About me
My name is Sophie Gurney and I am a multi-instrumentalist. I am flautist of 10 years and a pianist of 9 years. I have a First Class Honours degree in Music from the University of Surrey and since graduating from University, I have been teaching and performing in Hertfordshire. As of August 2024, I am living in Fernhurst, West Sussex (just below Haslemere). I am currently looking for students to teach and performing opportunities on a Freelance basis in the Surrey/Hampshire/West Sussex area.
